Urban Planning and Development
The Urban Planning and Development Focus will allow students to center their EPD coursework on urban planning in developing countries. Students interested in urban planning issues may want to view resources and other courses offered through the Urban Planning course listings.
The courses listed below are pre-approved (in other words they are courses that students have taken in the past to meet the professional focus requirement). Keep in mind that not all of these courses are offered each year, nor is this an exhaustive list. Therefore, consult the appropriate course bulletins/Registration Guide for up-to-date information. Remember that you are encouraged to take advantage of courses at Columbia’s other graduate schools. Go to their website to find out about relevant courses.
