Microfinance and Microenterprise Development
The Microfinance and Microenterprise Development Focus will allow students to center their EPD coursework on understanding different approaches to microfinance and microenterprise in developing countries. Students interested in microfinance and miroenterprise may want to view resources and courses offered through the International Finance and Policy course listings.
The courses listed below are pre-approved (in other words they are courses that students have taken in the past to meet the professional focus requirement). Keep in mind that not all of these courses are offered each year, nor is this an exhaustive list. Therefore, consult the appropriate course bulletins/Registration Guide for up-to-date information. Remember that you are encouraged to take advantage of courses at Columbia’s other graduate schools. Go to their website to find out about relevant courses.
