In May 2007, a delegation of 14 Iranian cyclists launched a cycling tour around the globe, traveling city by city across Italy, Germany, France and the UK to communicate the pacifist message of Iranian people to other nations around the world. They arrive in New York this week to continue their tour in the U.S.

Let’s join forces to lend our support to their peaceful cause.

Singer "Ludacris" Speaks in SIPA EPD Class
November 30, 2006

Singer and actor Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and actress Emmy Rossum visited SIPA’s ”Policy Analysis of Development” class, which is taught by SIPA Professor Jacqueline Klopp, on November 30 to help launch and promoteYouthAIDS’ Kick-me Campaign. “Kick Me” is a national, grassroots, student-led campaign to increase awareness of HIV / AIDS among youth in the U.S., reducing stigma and opening a constructive dialogue among young people. The two performers discussed their role as YouthAIDS Ambassadors and participated in an open exchange with the students about the problem of AIDs and its prevention.
