Areas of Responsibility:
Jesse Gale is the Associate Dean for Communications and External Relations at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. In this role, she oversees communications and marketing across the School.

Jesse previously served in Columbia's Office of Alumni and Development, where she was responsible for developing the Giving to Columbia and Columbia Alumni Association websites, as well as web, social media, and email outreach for the Columbia Alumni Association. She also led Columbia's Career Task Force, a University-wide initiative to develop career support for alumni, and the Alumni Lifetime Metrics Analysis (ALMA) project, a University-wide initiative to better measure and predict the impact of alumni relations programs. Before joining Columbia, Jesse wrote and produced content for Thirteen/WNET, VH1, and Lifetime as well as for various websites, periodicals, and books.

Jesse holds a PhD from Yale and an MBA from Columbia.
